Pier 57

On July 21st, Pier 57 participated in the 2nd Annual Castaway's Poker Run on beautiful Lake Laneir just outside Atlanta, Georgia. 

 Upon our arrival on Friday evening we set up the Pier 57 Hospitality Trailer and enjoyed a few drinks with friends and customers while John and crew prepared for another great dinner and bikini contest.  For testing we had glass water conditions and beautiful views.  Although we had a few sprinkles for the bikini contest, it did not cool things down at all. 

Although Saturday’s weather conditions started out overcast with a threat of rain we were able to get the first two legs of the run in before we took a short break with friends at Port Royale.  The start was great, like a scene out of a movie.  Our Cigarette 39 Top Gun performed flawlessly thru the chop of the lake and kept us right their at the first card stop.  Later that day we headed to Sunset Cove to enjoy live music and a few drinks while watching a fantastic sunset.

 The people and equipment that attended this run were "First Class".  Having an opportunity to do several runs over the years, I must say this is one of the if not the best run I have been to.  

 From the scenery to the lake, food, entertainment, organization and detail, Mr Woodruff and his team.  Great job to all, THANK YOU.

 After the rain cleared Sunday we did some more boating before heading back to Chicago/Tennessee.
