On July 21st, Pier 57 participated in the 3rd Annual 4 Horsemen Poker Run on beautiful Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Upon our arrival on Friday evening, the glass-like water conditions were ideal for some fun in our customers new 2013 Cigarette 42X powered by a pair of Mercury 1350 Turbo Engines & MX8 Drives.
Although Saturday’s weather conditions were a bit cool with a continued threat of rain throughout the day, the group was able to get in all legs of the run. For the first leg, we ran with the group, but the 2nd leg, with greater distance allowed us to demonstrate the superior performance of the 42X and the unrivaled power of the Mercury 1350 Turbo motors. We quickly pulled out in front of the pack and were the 1st boat to the lunch stop.
After an enjoyable lunch with customers and friends, we spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the scenery on the water.
Later in the evening, our event hosts provided a relaxing dinner under the tent and did provided a first class event.
Good to see those in attendance and we look forward to next year’s event!
